Screenwriting Template

Screenwriting has a very specific format, and rather than purchasing expensive (but, I know, worthwhile) software such as Final Draft, I found this link to the Microsoft Word 2007 screenwriting template: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC300000461033.aspx?CategoryID=CT101445101033&ofcresset=1

You just download it. It installs directly to Word 2007, and when you're ready you simply click New and then select the template from "My Templates" and you're good to go. There are hotkeys for the different formats (alt-A for action, alt-C for character, etc.). It's not an intuitive program that will predict what you want to do, but for the little bit that I have used it it seems rock solid.

Tomorrow starts ScriptFrenzy. For a good time, click on http://www.scriptfrenzy.org and play with the Plot Machine in the upper right corner.
